Acknowledgments

The 7th international Legume Conference is supported by following people, organization, and supporters. We show our cordial thanks to all those organizations and people below who contributed to realizing 7ILC in Sendai, Japan.
  • The Tropical Biosphere Research Center, University of the Ryukyu. The center is one of the Joint Usage/Research Centers (JURC) selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology of Japan (MEXT). TBRC provides various supports to 7ILC under its international activities of the JURC programs. People from TBRC played significant roles of organization and funds from TBRC were used to invite participants.
  • Tohoku University. Members of the university played essential roles in the Organization committee for the preparation at Sendai. Also, people from Tohoku University managed oral, and poster presentations and a coffee/tea break at the conference venue. Members of the Botanical Garden and Herbarium (TUS) provided services to participants. Koji Yonekura took care of visitors to the herbarium and garden.
  • The Sendai Tourism, Convention and International Association (SenTIA). SenTIA provided helps for preparation of 7ILC in Sendai to find and communicate with the conference venue and provided a grant to run the conference. They helped participants at the Information Desk and volunteers from Sendai City are very helpful.
  • The Inoue Foundation for Science and Kajima Foundation.  These foundations provided financial supports to promote sciences as well as international research activities by giving us financial supports. The supports were used for Travel Supports to participants, and we invited foreign researchers to Japan.
  • Sendai City War Reconstruction Memorial Hall. This well-managed conference hall kindly provided extra service to 7ILC and let us continuously use the conference hall for five days.
  • The organizing committee members, scientific board members, and symposium organizers. Through the preparation process for more than one year, they planned and discussed to realize the 7ILC.
  • Dr. Kun Qian at Kyushu University. He kindly designed the beautiful poster of 7ILC which were also used for the cover of the Program and Abstract Book as well as welcome board at the conference venue.
  • The JSPS Program for Advancing Strategic International Networks to Accelerate the Circulation of Talented Researchers (No. S2903 to Yasuhiro Kubota) invited speakers and supported to hold a symposium and a workshop.
  • JSPS KAKENHI (Grant Number 15H05232 to Tadashi Kajita) invited speakers and supported a symposium. 
  • The conference hall were well-managed by the great help of Yoshihisa Suyama (who mostly hided behind the curtain and controlled the light and PC) and Takashi Yamamoto (who ran around the hall with microphone).
  • The Tea/Coffee breaks and Poster hall was throughly managed by Masayuki Maki and all the student staff of Tohoku University
  • Motonari Oyama kindly printed all the ePosters and some others at the Botanical Garden, Tohoku University.
  • And all other people who helped us for 7ILC.
